Job Description:

The Brand Partnerships and PR Specialist will be responsible for executing on the strategy of brand partnerships, cause marketing campaigns, public relations, and influencer marketing. This role will work closely with external partners and internal cross-functional teams to bring content to life across a multi-platform landscape. This role will play a crucial part in building and nurturing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Some travel required.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day communications with VIP talent, influencers and/or their management team for upcoming campaigns, promotions, and gifting opportunities
  • Coordinate the tracking of PR samples and execution of press requests, PR photoshoots, media/influencer seedings and events
  • Supports the team with media pitches and media inquiries
  • Assists with the maintenance of the User Generated Content gallery
  • Process invoices and check requests with AP
  • Identifies and develops relationships with key influencers, media contacts and VIP talent/celebrities
  • Coordinates planning and execution of cause marketing campaigns
  • Track content and ROI of partnerships
  • Formulate presentation decks
  • Assists with brand partnership details, including planning and execution of campaigns
  • Deliver on tangible KPI’s (engagement, impressions, traffic, conversion, etc.)
  • Assists with weekly, monthly, and annual reporting
  • Collaborate with PR vendors, including PR agency, talent marketing firm and affiliate marketing partners
  • Assists with event logistics and execution

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a business related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1+ years experience in Communications, Public Relations, Partnerships or Marketing preferred.
  • Experience in Retail preferred.
  • Thorough and vast knowledge of the digital landscape as it pertains to marketing.
  • Ability to think strategically and work with cross-functional teams to develop engaging content that supports strategies, drives brand awareness, increases market preference for our fashion, and influences buying behaviors.
  • Learns quickly when facing new problems; a relentless and versatile learner; open to change; analyzes both successes and failures for clues to improvement; experiments and will try anything to find solutions; enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks; quickly grasps the essence and the underlying structure of anything.
  • Passion and in-depth understanding fashion product knowledge and vocabulary. Interested in contemporary culture. Follows fashion trend and opinion.
  • Understanding of current trends in social media, influencer marketing and media relations and how brands use these areas of marketing to engage with external audiences.
  • Highly collaborative, creative and posses a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent writing skills with particular attention to spelling and grammar, presentation, and communication skills; demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and show strong attention to detail.
